Why Our Beans Are Different

Most commercial dried beans are sourced from multiple regions, stored for long periods, and blended for uniform appearance.

At Fresh Acres, we grow our beans on our New Lowell farm and focus on freshness, traceability, and minimal handling. Our beans are carefully cleaned and packed to preserve quality, cooking performance, and natural flavour.

Because they’re not overly aged or polished, you’ll notice better hydration, more even cooking, and beans that hold their shape while becoming creamy inside.

All of our beans are non-GMO and grown without the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and fungicides.

Cooking Tips:

• Rinse before cooking
• Soak 8-12 hours for faster, more even cooking
